Dr. Nguyen’s areas of expertise include soil physics, hydrology, nutrient transport and loss, conservation practices (such as cover crops and residue management), and watershed-scale water quality assessment. She has experience using remote sensing and crop/watershed modeling tools to evaluate agricultural management practices and their environmental impacts. Dr. Nguyen is committed to advancing sustainable agriculture through research, education, and extension. Her work aims to support farmers, researchers, and policymakers by providing science-based information to improve soil health, water quality, and long-term agricultural productivity.
