Areas of research interest:
My primary areas of research include mammalian olfactory function and chemical odor analysis in the field of canine detection. I have an educational foundation in neuroscience, physiology, and general biology, with experience as an educator at undergraduate and graduate levels. Following my doctoral program, I spent 4 years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgia Southern University followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. After gaining a diverse range of technical training, I returned to the Canine Performance Sciences program at Auburn University to continue the chemosensory research that I am most passionate about.
