Endeavor is Auburn University's Electronic Research Administration (eRA) system for managing research administration and compliance activities. Endeavor streamlines proposal development, submissions, approvals, awards, agreement negotiation, faculty pre-approvals for external engagements, and conflict of interest disclosures.
It also supports creation, submission, and approvals of compliance protocols for the Human Participant Protection Program/Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Biological Safety Program/Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Endeavor brings all research-related processes into one system facilitating transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across the research lifecycle.

Grants and Agreements
The Grants and Agreements module allows investigators and research administrators to manage their sponsored research funding and other non-financial agreements. It allows for creation and submission of proposals to outside funding agencies, and system-to-system proposal submission to federal opportunities hosted in Grants.gov. The Office of Sponsored Programs accepts, negotiates, and processes new awards, subagreements, and modifications through this module.
It is also used by investigators and the Office of Intellectual Property Exchange to review and negotiate non-financial agreements such as Non-Disclosures Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements and Data Use Agreements, among others.
Visit the Office of Sponsored Programs for general guidance, regulations, and policies regarding extramural projects.
