Auburn’s eRA system, Endeavor, manages all proposal development, submissions, approvals and awards related to sponsored projects. Endeavor also houses faculty consulting preapproval requests and conflict of interest (COI) disclosure forms.
Compliance protocols for the Human Participant Protection Program/Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Biological Safety Program/Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) are created, submitted, reviewed, approved and managed within the Endeavor software suite.
By uniting research administration and compliance in one system, Auburn has streamlined processes and increased transparency for faculty and administrators. Full deployment is expected spring 2026.
