Auburn University's College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment received a five-year project from the Alabama Department of Conservation of Natural Resources. Led by Jonathon Valente, assistant research professor, the study examines habitat management effects on wildlife in Alabama's Wildlife Management Areas. Using a variety of research methods, Valente's team will assess how wildlife communities are responding to management changes and evaluate outcomes.
